Foursquare Disaster Relief in the Congo
The Democratic Republic of the Congo is faced with one of the largest, longest-lasting wars in history. Many people have been killed and displaced, suffering unimaginable devastation.
Foursquare Disaster Relief is meeting the displaced and hopeless in refugee camps and Foursquare Churches that have been devastated by the war, offering spiritual and literal food and water, clothing and resources.
This program is supported by individuals who are able to offer any amount of financial support.
While we are always desirous of your donations towards the plethora of projects they partake in, we are currently specifically asking for donations towards the Congo.
To donate to this very worthy cause, you can do so in one of two ways.
1) Attend the Turtle Lake Four Square Mission and on the donation envelopes choose “Missions” and specify that you would like your donation to go towards the Congo
2) go to the Foursquaredisasterrelief.org website and give directly to the Congo or to any project.
Of the money that is received, the Four Square Disaster Relief outreach program will distribute the money to local Four Square churches who will further divide the money amongst the needy. 90% of all the donations goes towards the people in the Congo and only 10% to administrative costs.
